1 TB free audio storage

Trim to the part you want. Free.

Upload an audio file, tell Scarleta which section to keep, and get back a shorter clip. Just that part. Trimming is free: no token charge, no signup wall to try it.

How it works

No setup, no plugins. Just ask, and get the file back.

Step 1

Upload your audio

Drop any audio file into the Scarleta chat: a song, a podcast, or a long voice memo.

Step 2

Say which part to keep

Type it in plain words: "keep 0:30 to 1:00" or "just the chorus." The AI runs the trim. No editor, no timeline scrubbing, no code.

Step 3

Get your shorter clip

Scarleta returns a new, shorter audio file with just the section you asked for. Trimming is free, no token charge.

Recipes

Make trimmed clip one step in a pipeline you run by name.

Chain it with other steps into a recipe you design once, then run on a single file in chat or on thousands at once.

More than one trick

Scarleta does a whole lot more.

The same account handles all of it. Here are a few very different things you can do with your audio.

For developers

For developers: trim as a step in a workflow

Crop is a free step you can chain inside a larger job. For example, drop the vocals, then trim to the hook. Developers run multi-step workflows over the batch API, a paid developer surface. The crop step itself adds no per-second charge.

# A paid batch workflow that ends in a FREE crop step:
# drop the vocals, then trim to the hook. Batch is paid-only.
curl https://api.scarleta.ai/v1/batch \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SCARLETA_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "recipe_id": "rec_0002_instrumental_hook",
    "audio_urls": [
      "https://example.com/song.mp3"
    ]
  }'

# 202 + batch_id, status: "IN_QUEUE". The crop step adds no per-second
# charge; the batch job runs on a paid key. Poll GET /v1/batch/:id/results
# or let the batch_completed webhook call you back.

Trim your audio in seconds, free

Upload a file, say which part to keep, and download the shorter clip. Trimming costs nothing, and every account starts with 300 free tokens for the paid tools.

Frequently asked questions

What do I get back?

A new, shorter audio file. Just the one continuous section you asked to keep. Same format, trimmed to your start and end points.

How much does trimming cost?

Trimming is free. There is no token charge for a crop. You only spend tokens on the paid analysis and processing tools. A plain trim does not touch your balance.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Upload a file in the Scarleta chat and say which part to keep. It runs in your browser, with nothing to download.

Can I cut out multiple pieces or edit inside the clip?

A trim keeps one continuous section: one start point to one end point. To combine edits, chain steps. For example, remove the vocals first, then trim to the part you want.

Can I trim files from my own app?

Yes. Developers can run a trim as a free step inside a batch workflow via the API. The batch API is a paid developer surface, but the crop step itself adds no per-second charge. See the docs.

What does everything else cost?

The paid tools are priced by the second of audio: 1 token per second, which works out to $0.10 per minute. Every account starts with 300 free tokens, and top-ups begin at $10. No subscription.
