The exact BPM and beat grid, straight from the audio.
Upload a track and ask for its tempo. Scarleta listens to the beat and gives you the BPM, the beat times, and how steady the tempo holds, right in the chat.
How it works
No setup, no plugins. Just ask, and get the file back.
Upload your track
Drop an audio file into the Scarleta chat: a full song, a loop, or a rehearsal recording. No plugins to install.
Ask for the tempo
Type it in plain language: "what's the BPM?" The AI figures out which analysis to run, with no settings and no code.
Get the BPM and beat grid
Get the detected BPM, the beat times, and how steady the tempo is, laid out as a tempo curve you can read right in the conversation.
Built-in storage
Every result is saved to your library, 1 TB free.
The files you bring and the tempo and beat grid results you get are kept in one place, so you can come back, compare earlier versions, share a link, or ask across everything you’ve stored, whenever you want.
Recipes
Make tempo and beat grid one step in a pipeline you run by name.
Chain it with other steps into a recipe you design once, then run on a single file in chat or on thousands at once.

More than one trick
Scarleta does a whole lot more.
The same account handles all of it. Here are a few very different things you can do with your audio.
For developers
Do this at scale with the API
Running a whole catalog? Send a batch of files to a tempo recipe and let a webhook call you back when each one is done.
curl https://api.scarleta.ai/v1/batch \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCARLETA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"recipe_id": "rec_0002_tempo",
"audio_urls": [
"https://example.com/song.mp3"
]
}'Know the tempo of any track
Start on your free tokens: upload a song, ask for the BPM, and read the beat grid right in the chat. Top up only when you need more.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get back?
The detected BPM, the beat times across the track, and a read on how steady the tempo is. You can see the beat on a timeline right in the chat, and export the analysis as CSV or JSON to use in your own tools.
How much does it cost?
You pay per second of audio: 1 token per second, which works out to $0.10 per minute. New accounts start with 300 free tokens, and top-ups start at $10. No subscription.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Upload a track in the Scarleta chat and ask. It runs right in your browser with nothing to download.
Can I run this on a lot of songs from my own app?
Yes. Developers can send many files at once through our API and get called back by webhook when every one is done. See the docs to get started.
