Grab the audio out of any video, or drop it back in.
Upload an MP4 and Scarleta pulls out the audio track as its own file. Done editing? Mux a processed track back into the video and download the new file. Just ask. No editor, no command line.
How it works
No setup, no plugins. Just ask, and get the file back.
Upload your video
Drop an MP4 into the Scarleta chat. It's the first step for any video. Scarleta reads the file and pulls the audio out.
Get the audio track back
You get the extracted audio as its own file, ready to play, download, or run through anything else Scarleta does: cleanup, stems, or more.
Put a track back in (optional)
Once you've processed the audio, ask Scarleta to reassemble it into the video. You get a new video file with the new audio muxed in.

Built-in storage
Every result is saved to your library, 1 TB free.
The files you bring and the extracted audio results you get are kept in one place, so you can come back, compare earlier versions, share a link, or ask across everything you’ve stored, whenever you want.
Recipes
Make extracted audio one step in a pipeline you run by name.
Chain it with other steps into a recipe you design once, then run on a single file in chat or on thousands at once.

Simple, transparent pricing
Only pay for the audio you actually process.
1 token = 1 second of audio, minimum 1 token per job.
More than one trick
Scarleta does a whole lot more.
The same account handles all of it. Here are a few very different things you can do with your audio.
For developers
For developers: do it over a whole batch
Run video-to-audio extraction over many files at once through the batch API. Submit, then we call you back when it is done.
curl -X POST https://api.scarleta.ai/v1/batch \
-H "Authorization: Bearer scar_live_your_key" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"recipe_id": "rec_0001_extract_video_audio",
"audio_urls": ["https://example.com/clip.mp4"]
}'
# 202 { "batch_id": "...", "status": "IN_QUEUE" }
# Then poll GET /v1/batch/{batch_id}/results, or let the webhook call you.Pull the audio out of your video in minutes
Start on your free tokens. Upload a video, get the audio as its own file, and drop a processed track back in whenever you need. Top up only when you want more.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get back?
First, the audio track pulled out of your video as its own file. If you want the round trip, you also get a new video file with your processed audio put back in.
Can I clean up or edit the audio while it's out?
Yes. That's the point of pulling it out. Once the audio is its own file you can run it through Scarleta's other tools (like noise cleanup or stem splitting) and then drop the result back into the video.
How much does it cost?
You pay per second of audio: $0.10 per minute, from prepaid tokens (1 token = 1 second). New accounts start with 300 free tokens, and top-ups start at $10. No subscription.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Upload a video in the Scarleta chat and ask. It runs in the browser, nothing to download, no command line.
Can I run this on a lot of files from my own app?
Yes. Developers can send many files at once through our API and get called back by webhook when every one is done. See the docs.
